TCAA Ministries
Have you ever wondered who God impacts through our prayers, service, love, words, finances, and walking in unity with the greater body of Christ? I was recently asked for a summary of what The Church at Asheville does. The following was my answer. As it turns out, it's not us doing it at all but, rather; Jesus working through us!
Our main ministry is to develop the members of our church and to help them find a more meaningful relationship with Jesus. Of course, there's a lot that goes with that in all aspects of life together. We have found that our most impactful ministry is helping and loving people where they are at so that they can find restoration. Sometimes they stay with us as they find restoration and sometimes they move on to the next season in their lives. We 'hold people loosely', which means that we love them while they are with us and encourage them as they step out into what is next for them in their life; whether that is with us or some place else.
The following is not meant to be comprehensive but rather a spotlight on the last year.
Our partnerships in Western North Carolina are with the following (which means we give financially, volunteer and support them, or both):

I can provide additional detail if you need it but this gives you an idea of what we do. While we are a small congregation (around 50 people), we impact the lives of many times that number through prayer, volunteering, providing funds, and loving others. We are not trying to build a massive organization; we are merely trying to live out the words of Jesus to Love God and to Love Others to the best of our abilities.
Anything is possible when we decide to Love God and Love People together!
